Transferring Files to Android Tablet / Mobile Phone

HOW TO? - Transfer Files from laptop to Phone / Tablets

Those who are new to android devices, I have prepared HOW TO guide for transferring any data / songs / movies to tablet. It is simple 5 Step guide.

(1) Connect USB cable to Phone / Tablet, with Laptop.

(2) Go to Status Bar , You will have option to "Turn on USB storage" or something similar to this like, "USB connected".

Click on it.

You will see Android with USB storage in hand.

Click on "Connect USB storage" or "Turn on USB Storage" one warning message, Click OK.

Now Android will turn reddish.

(3) Now your phone & it's memory card will be seen as external drives in your computer. 

Copy - Paste whatever data you need, from computer to  Memory card. You can make folder, sub folder and copy data.

(4) Once you are done, don't remove USB directly, Go to Staus Bar, there will be option "Disconnect USB Storage" or "Turn Off USB storage"

Once done with it, Android Logo will turn back to green. 

Disconnect USB from Phone / tablet & laptop.

(5) In phone / tablet go to file manager/ browser, you will see whatever data  / songs / .apk files / ebooks.

    If you need to install any .apk files just click on those.
