Your favorite media player from the 90s is going to close the service, Yes Winamp, your very first media player when you bought the Laptop / Dekstop, is shutting down and From 20th Dec 2013, Winamp will not be there. I have become nostalgic as soon as I read the news. If you remember correctly it was the first media player with lot of customization and skin options...

All the associated services will be shut down, but for many of us, surely this is an end of an era. The official note on the website says, winamp.com and associated services will not be available after 20th Dec, also Winamp media player will not be available for download.
We think that after AOL took over the Winamp, bad time started for it, there was not much development and consideration given to winamp and probably that's the reason its going to shut down.
