Micromax Launches the Micromax Canvas Win Smartphone at Rs 9500/-

Today, Micromax unveiled their two new Windows based affordable smart phones, which are Micromax Canvas Win W121 and Micromax Canvas Win W092, respectively priced at Rs 9500 and Rs 6500/-. Both smartphones will go on sale from July 2014 onwards. It is noticeable that Microsoft recently offered free Windows OS licesnes to Indian handset manufacturers such as Micromax, Lava, Karbonn and Xolo. This seems to an effort to increase the market penetration of Windows Mobile OS in the time of Android. However at the end, it is customer who gains.
Micromax Canvas Win W121 is a 5 Inch HD smartphone which has display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which in terms of pixle per inch, will be 294 ppi. It runs on the 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor from Qualcomm coupled with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB with memory card.
On the camera front it has 8 Mega pixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash and on the front it has 2 Mega Pixel camera for Selfie. If you are looking at connectivity options then it has, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
It runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS, backed by 2000 mAh battery. Micromax Canvas Win W121 is aggressively priced at Rs 9500/-
On the other hand, Micromax Canvas Win W092 is 4 Inch Phone with display resolution of 800 x 480, which is also powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM. Internal storage is same in both handsets. On the camera front, Micromax Canvas Win W092 has 5 Mega Pixel auto focus camera with LED flash and on the front it has VGA camera.
Micromax Canvas Win W092 is priced at rs 6500/- Both the handsets have leather-ed back which is new thing. Which is even visible in the picture.
