This time around, Gadgets Freak research team has decided to clear the air over the crowded tablets market in India, we researched around the best tablets in India under Rs 9999 in the first phase.
We have prepared this report after careful research of Price Vs Technology vs Post sales service. We hope that our readers will find it useful.
We divided the overall price range in to 4 segments, with starting at Rs 4500 to 5500, and then increase of thousand rupees in each segment.
To begin with in the first segment of Rs 4500 to Rs 5500 we have tough competition, between, BSNL Penta T Pad IS710C, Micromax Infinity, Zync Z930, and Videocon VT71.
All Four tablet have 7 Inch capacitive touch screen, same resolution and same internal storage + ram. Except BSNL Penta all have reported speed of 1.2 Ghz.

Considering all factors, you will see from comparison that Micromax Infinity steals the show...
So in the range of Rs 4500- 5500, Gadgets Freak recommends...Micromax Infinity, because of higher battery capacity, 2 cameras, & dual processor and full HD play back capacity however it lacks bluetooth.
Next in the segment is the price range from Rs 5500 to Rs 6500, here tough competition is between, Funbook, Karbon Smart Tab1, I Berry AX01 and BSNL Penta T Pad IS 703C.
If we compare it with basic parameters, and look at the comparison, Here Karbon Smart TAB1 is clear winner, but a bit of less battery back up and higher processing power of 1.2Ghz and latest android OS.
But say if you don't want to go for higher OS & high speed processor, Penta T pad IS703C is also a good choice, with 8GB internal memory and 1 GB RAM.
Next in the segment is the price range from Rs 6500 to Rs 8500, in this segment one can get choice of tablet with calling feature also. So you get a Phablet instead of tablet as you can make calls also.
Please note that if you want to use tablet as cell phone also then it must have bluetooth as you will not be able to hold the 7 inch tablet while making calls as that is not comfortable.
Here there is a competition between, HCL ME tab U1, Micromax Funbook Talk, Penta T PAD WS702C and newly launched ACER ICONIA B1.

Gadgetsfreak recommends Penta T PAD WS702C due to higher resolution of screen and bluetooth, also higher RAM + Internal storage.
If you want to go for good LCD screen and don't need phone then ICONIA B1 is also an option!
