Micromax Canvas HD Vs Lava Xolo A1000

Indian smart phone market is facing a lot of heat, as all the manufacturer have lined up their smartphones to capture the market, last week we saw two major launches, Canvas HD from Micromax and Xolo A1000 from Lava.

Today we will compare them both and we will try to see which is better?

As far as specifications of Canvas HD are concerned they are as below...

Technical Specifications @ Canvas HD

• 5 Inch, IPS HD Display
• Quad Core 1 Ghz Cortex Processor, 1GB RAM
• 4 GB internal Memory and expandable upto 32GB.
• Wifi & Bluetooth
• Li-Ion battery 2000 mah
• Camera Sensor: 8 MP rear, 2 MP Front

Technical Specifications @ Xolo A1000

• 5-inch 720p IPS display (1280x720)
• 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor
• 1GBRAM
• 4GB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD
• 8-megapixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash
• 1.2-megapixel front camera
• Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and GPRS
• 2,100mAh battery

So if we see, both have similar display, the major difference is in Processor, where Canvas HD has quad core processor and Xolo has dual core processor.

Another difference is in front camera, Canvas HD as 2 MP, where as Xolo has 1.3 MP so as far as Processor and Camera is concerned XOLO seems to be on back foot, rest all specs being same.

Xolo A1000 scores over Canvas in battery as Canvas has 2000 mah battery whereas XOLO A1000 has 2100 mAh battery ideally this shall last longer.

Both the devices are similarly priced at Rs 13,990/-  however availability varies, Canvas HD is not available whereas Xolo A1000 is available.

To sum up, as of now, Canvas HD seems to be wining the battle with Xolo A1000.
