Its Raining Tablets in India....Swipe Halo Speed @ Rs 6,990/-

It seems that in India, the budget tablets are raining, just after the launch of Kobian's mtab 7g, today Swipe has launched their 7 Inch Feature rich Tablet with Voice calling facility at Rs 6,990/-

This 7 Inch tablet comes with a special feature called Face Recognition, which can unlock tablet automatically seeing you! :) It is a Dual SIM tablet.

Rest all features are standard nothing new, like it has 7 Inch capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 800 x 480, which is powered by 1.5 Ghz processor with 512 MB RAM. It is running on android 4.1 which is Jelly Bean OS.  This tab has internal memory of 4 GB which can be further expanded upto 32Gb with micro SD card.

This has Dual Camera with which you can make Skype calls, rear camera is of 2 Mega Pixle, and front camera is VGA. It has Bluetooth, WiFi & GPRS support for connectivity.

All these to be backed by a marathon battery of 3400 mAh.

There is no mention about 3G dongle support on website but it shall support 3G via dongle, this is what is our belief.

This doesn't seem to be a good choice at Rs 6990/- one can go for Micromax Funbook talk P360 or Videocon VT 75C at the similar prices.
