Celkon today launched their new 5 Inch phone, dubbed as A118 Signautre HD, which is smartly priced at Rs 12,500/- to take on the Micromax Canvas A116 HD and Lava Xolo Q1000. Celkon A118 Signature HD has 5 Inch IPS touch screen which has resolution of 1280 x 720 which is 293 ppi, in terms of pixels per inch.
This handset is Dual SIM, GSM / WCDMA + GSM standby, like most of its siblings. Celkon A118 Signature HD runs on 1.2 Ghz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM, for hassle free operation. This handset works on the Andriod 4.2 OS which is latest Jelly Bean 4.2.
Celkon A118 Signaute HD sports 8 Mega Pixel auto focus camera at the back with LED flash and on the front it has 3 Mega Pixel camera, it has 4 GB internal memory which can be further expanded to 32 GB with micro SD card.
If we look at connectivity options, it has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, and it has Proximity Sensor, accelerometer and light sensor in built. It has battery pack of 2000 mAh.
