If we go by the latest market share of the 7" tablets in India in Q1 2013, then we have pretty surprising results, the market leader of the 2012 has slipped to No 2 position in the segment with 7% dip in the market share, Micromax has 12.3% market share in Q1 2013.

Datawind emerges the clear winner here with 15.3% market share and it is now No.1 in India for Q1 2013. It gained 6% approx market share compared to 2012 results.

Karbonn is not far behind the Micromax, and just behind Apple, it is standing at no 4 with 9.85% market share thanks to the aggressive line up of tablets and Apple is at no.3 with 11.7% market share.

Surprisingly Samsung has missed the top spots !!!
