Videocon today launched their flagship smartphone Videocon A55HD, which is yet another 5 Inch smartphone priced sweetly to compete with rivals like Micromax Canvas HD & Xolo A1000. Videocon A55HD will be available in India for just Rs.13,499/-
This phone is similar to Micromax Canvas HD in all aspects but with Flip to Slient and Face detection feature to unlock the phone, which seems to be added attraction in Videocon A55 HD.
Under the Hood, Videocon A55HD has 1.2 Ghz Quad core processor for super fast performance along with the 1 GB RAM, it has 4 GB internal memory which can be further expanded to 32 GB memory card. As the name suggests Videocon A55HD has 5 Inch HD screen with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which will come to 294 ppi which is exactly same as Micromax Canvas HD.
It runs on the latest Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system from Android.
It has 8 Mega Pixel auto focus camera at the back with LED flash, and on the front it has 3.2 Mega Pixel camera, so it fares better in terms of front camera as Micromax Canvas HD comes with 1.3 Mega Pixel.
For the ease of connectivity, Videocon A55HD has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS / A-GPS, All these features are supported by power packed battery of 2000 mAh which is exactly same as of Micromax Canvas HD.
In 3G speeds upto 42 Mbps is supported.
