After the Akash1, Aakash2 and Aakash 3 , now Government of India has frozen the specifications for Aakash 4, and as per Mr. Kapil Sibal, Aakash 4 should be available by 2014 as the specifications are finalized and 14 Global manufacturers have shown interest in the prodcution of Aakash 4 tablet.
Now as per the specifications, Aakash 4 will have smart phone functionality with voice calling and it will support 4G high speed internet thro external dongle. It will have in built bluetooth, it will have 1 GB RAM, 4GB internal memory along with memory card you can expand the memory to 32GB.
Just like Aakash 3 it will have 7 Inch touch screen with resolution of 800 x480 pixels, it will also have WiFi for the internet connectivity.
Aakash 4 will come with latest Android OS Jelly Bean 4.2 and also the battery will last at least 3 hours for video play back so it will have higher battery back up.
