World's Slimmest Gionee Elife S5.5 is here with Octa Core Processor and 13 Mega Pixel camera

If you are following the all gadgets related news then you must be aware that Huawei's Ascend P6 was the thinnest smartphone in the world with just 6.16 mm, however it's no more now, Gionee has launched the Elife S5.5 which is just 5.5 mm thin. Gionee has introduced this handset in China and currently pre-booking for the same is going on.
It's not only the thinness which is the punch line of the phone, but Gionee Elife S5.5 packs 5 Inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, it has resolution of 1920 x 1080 with pixels per inch coming to 441 ppi. Under the hood Gionee Elife S5.5 sports 1.7 GHz True Octa Core Processor from Media Tek with 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB internal memory but no expandable memory.
Gionee Elife S5.5 has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection against scratched on touch screen. It has 13 Mega Pixel rear auto focus camera which is capable of recording 1080p videos and 5 Mega Pixel front camera for selfie!
It supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, OTG and GPS. It runs on Amigo 2.0 OS which is customized version from Gionee based on Jelly Bean 4.2 OS.
It has 2300 mAh battery, It will hit in India approximately in June 2014, expected price will ber Rs 23000/-.
