GF Exclusive - Canvas2 Upgrade to Jelly Bean

Once again, We have exclusive news for you, Canvas2 Jelly Bean upgrade / update procedure. This process is verified by Micromax itself so there is no risk involved in it and yes say process is not successful at the end you have choice of reverting to older version by rebooting system.


First of all open below site download required SW to update your phone

This file is of 282MB save it in your PC. Go in C drive and make folder there naming "MMXA110", now inside this folder make another folder and name it "update" and unrar/unzip that downloaded .rar file.
like this c:/MMXA110/update/

You will need one more flasher tool

save this file in your pc and then unzip/unrar it in that folder c:/MMXA110/update/

Now you have following SW in your laptop.

From SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1220.01 folder and run Flash_tool.exe file.

Click on scatter-loading and open MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc file, Check the snapshot below.

And then browse for the below image file...

Now in your handset,  Go to Settings --> Development ---> USB Debugging, Tick Mark the USB Debugging if it is not.

Now switch off your phone and click on Download button on Flash tool.

Do not disconnect your phone from PC while this is in progress.

When you switch on your phone for the first time after upgrade, it will take longer time to start and you will see super phone logo for longer duration. But Don't worry. It will start soon! 

And when you are done!
