Rumor : Nokia Asha 501 coming on 9th May?

Nokia has sent invites for 9th May event, which could possibly see Nokia Asha 501 launch

As per the rumors, Nokia is planning to launch a new Asha device which is Nokia Asha 501, this device supposedly will come with 3.5 Inch AMOLED touch screen, which is large than Nokia Asha 311. This device is to look similar to Lumia phones in bright colors.

Asha 501 one to come with 5 Mega Pixel camera with LED flash, with WiFi and 3G, however this feature phone will be powered by 1 Ghz processor and runs the Symbian Series 40 OS. As per Nokia, now Symbian Series 40 OS has been optimized for such touch screen based phone.

So for connectivity you have 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, it will have VGA front camera for video calling.

This phone will be priced around Rs 7000/-
