Star Launches - Xolo Q900s, Spice Stellar 520, Spice Stellar 526 and Oplus Xonphone 5

Looking back at the week, we can say that, this week has marked superb entry of Xiaomi to India, which will definitely shake up the market in a long term. On 22nd July, when Flipkart opened the sale of Xioami Mi-3 their website crashed and the Mi-3 was sold out in minutes. Micromax was the first to respond from India and they lowered the price of their Micromax Canvas HD Plus just to Rs 9999/- Leaving apart, we saw some launches this week also.

Xolo launched the Android version of their windows phone, Xolo Q900s Win, Spice launched two new smartphone in their stellar range, Taiwanese Oplus also launched their XonPhone 5 exclusively on snapdeal.

Xolo Q900s is lightest handset in its category, weighing 100 gms only just like it's windows sibling. Xolo Q900s almost same specs, it has 4.7 Inch qHD screen with 234 ppi with One Glass Solution. It runs on   1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB with Memory card. Running on the Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, it has 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has 2 MP snapper for selfie! It offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and Micro USB in connectivity options. It is priced at Rs 9999/-

Spice Stellar 520 and Spice Stellar 526 joins the over crowded KitKat OS market in India at a price of   Rs 8,999 and Rs 11,499/- respectively.

Spice Stellar 520 has 5 Inch HD IPS touch screen with 294 ppi, under the hood, it has 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded to 32 GB with memory card. It has 8 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has 2 MP camera. Spice Stellar 520 offers 3G on both SIMs, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.

Spice Stellar 526 is also and 5 Incher smartphone with IPS HD screen, 267 ppi. Stellar 526 is also First Hexa Core smartphone from Spice, which clocks at 1.5 GHz Hexa Core processor with 1 GB RAM. It in built storage of 8 GB and expandable 32 GB with memory card. 

Having 8 MP rear camera with LED flash hardly differentiate it from Spice Steallar 520 however on the front Spice Stellar 526 has 3.2 MP camera. It offers almost similar connectivity features, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by 2500 mAh battery.

Taiwanese manufacturer Oplus has expanded its product portfolio in India, with Xonphone 5. Xonphone 5 is again 5 Incher smartphone with 720p resolution which means it has 294 ppi. It runs on KitKat OS, having 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM, it has on board memory of 16 GB. Further the memory can be expanded to 32 GB with memory card.

Xonphone 5 has 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has 2MP camera. It offers almost the same connectivity options which rest all phone offers, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has 2000 mAh battery. It is very aggressively priced at Rs 7,999/-
