Lenovo has expanded it's tablet range in India, with the addition of Lenovo S5000. Lenovo S5000 is exclusively available on Amazon. Lenovo S5000 is 7 Inch tablet which is priced at Rs 10,999/-. New Lenovo S5000 has 7 Inch IPS HD display which has pixel resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, so in terms of pixels per inch it comes to 216 PPI. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 16 GB internal memory, and it seems that it has no expandable memory. The New Lenovo S5000 supports 3G connectivity for browsing however voice calls are not supported.
Lenovo S5000 has 5 Mega Pixel auto focus rear camera, and on the front it has 1.6 mega pixel camera capable of HD recording.
It supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG for connectivity. It is powered by 3450 mAh battery which will give you 8 hrs browsing time on WiFi. It is running on the outdated Jelly Bean 4.2 OS however company claims that they will be providing KitKat OS update later.
It is available in silver-gray color.
