Apple has unveiled their flagship devices, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+, with screen size of 4.7 Inch and 5.5 Inch, so if we go by the size then, iPhone 6+ is the biggest iPhone till date. Global launch was marred by the report of iPhone 6+ bending if you put in trouser but sales have gone off well and it seems in India also it will fly off the shelf. India launch is confirmed on 17th Oct. 2014.
iPhone 6 sports a 4.7 Inch HD display with the display resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and in terms of ppi, it will come to 326 ppi. Whereas iPhone 6+ has 5.5 Inch Full HD display with 1020 x 1980 pixels resolution, and in terms of pixels per inch it will come to 401 ppi.
Both the iPhones are powered by Apple's A8 chip which is dual core and clocked at 1.4 GHz along with PowerVR GX6450 GPU. Both iPhones have 1 GB RAM. And it will come in to three version variants as far as internal storage is concerned, 16GB, 64GB and 128 GB.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ have 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with Dual LED flash and on the front it has 1.2 Mega Pixel camera for selfie and video chats.
It runs on the ios 8 however there is latetst os ios 8.1.2 also available. It has battery capacity of 2915 mAh.
On the connectivity front, both offers, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, 4G / LTE and NFC. It has finger print sensor, touch id which is used in Apple Pay payment gateway, however in India there is no word on the launch of Apple Pay.
There is no information of pricing yet, however it is believed that iPhone 6 16 GB will be priced at Rs 56,000/-
